Which grinder suits you?

Two parts or four, metal or wood. What to look for when you want one that lasts.

A grinder seems like a simple thing, until you see a few side by side. These are the differences that matter.

How many parts?

A two-part grinder is small and simple: a grinding chamber and a lid. With three or four parts there is a collection chamber underneath, and often a sifter that catches the finest particles separately.

What material?

Metal lasts a long time and keeps its sharp teeth. Wood feels warmer and looks good, but needs a little more care. Plastic is light and cheap, and wears faster.

How do you clean it?

Brush out the teeth and the sifter regularly. If it gets stuck, put the metal parts in warm water with a little alcohol for a while and let them dry well.

We stock many kinds, from the sleek Krush to grinders you can simply keep on a shelf.
